Who to contact
For privacy questions or requests relating to information submitted through these websites, contact Altra Corporations at info@altracorporations.com. Please identify which Altra company your enquiry concerns.
Information you provide
The enquiry forms ask for your name, email address, enquiry category, subject, and message. We use this information to understand and respond to your request, direct it to the relevant company, and maintain necessary correspondence. Do not include passwords, financial details, or sensitive personal information.
How and why it is used
We process enquiry information to respond to requests and, where relevant, take steps you request before providing a service. We also have a legitimate interest in managing correspondence and protecting the website against abuse. The privacy checkbox acknowledges this notice; it is not permission for marketing. These forms do not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Service providers and security
When the online form is enabled, Cloudflare hosts the site and provides Turnstile security verification. Resend accepts enquiry emails for delivery to our contact inbox. These providers process information needed to perform their services. Security systems may process technical information, including your IP address, browser information, and verification results.
If durable rate limiting is enabled, a keyed hash derived from your IP address and a short-lived submission counter are stored to reduce abuse. Raw IP addresses and enquiry messages are not stored in that rate-limit database. Counters are removed during subsequent activity after their retention window.
Enquiry emails may be processed outside your country by these providers. Their published privacy notices describe their processing and transfer safeguards: Cloudflare privacy notice, Resend privacy notice, and Google privacy notice for the contact inbox.
Support requests and portal access
Support requests, replies, status changes and private administration notes are stored in Cloudflare D1 so we can manage your enquiry. Resend sends confirmation, sign-in and update emails. A secure email sign-in link expires after 15 minutes and can only be used once. An essential, secure session cookie keeps you signed in to the portal for up to seven days, or until you sign out. Administrators authenticate through Cloudflare Access. Your support details are not used to subscribe you to marketing.
Expired sign-in records and abuse-prevention counters are removed automatically. Support correspondence follows the retention policy below; contact us to request access or deletion.
Altra Configurator
Your in-progress concept is kept in this browser tab’s session storage for up to 24 hours after your last change. When you continue to the Portal, the concept is saved in our existing Cloudflare database. Its private reference expires after 24 hours; expired drafts are removed during daily cleanup. Keep this reference private. Continuing does not send a support request. If you choose to submit, your configuration becomes part of your support correspondence and follows the support retention policy. Your configuration is not used for newsletter subscriptions.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to handle the request, maintain relevant business records, or meet applicable obligations. You may ask us about the information we hold or request deletion. Some records may need to be retained where there is an ongoing legal or business requirement.
Cookies and website features
This website does not include advertising trackers or analytics. The site itself does not set marketing cookies or use local storage. Turnstile may process essential technical data when an enquiry or newsletter form is available. Hosting providers may keep operational and security logs.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to the use of, or receive a copy of your personal information. Email us to make a request. You may also raise a concern with the data protection authority in your country. If you are in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the site and services develop. The date above identifies the current version.
